I was going to go there back in August, but was warned not to. It's Angkor Wat's little brother. This temple and Angkor Wat were connected by a road in ancient times that made up the center of the Khmer empire. Thailand lays claim to both temples, but Angkor Wat is in Cambodia. It is argued that Thailand is a cultral thief of what used to be Cambodian culture. Cambodia was the center crossroads of SE Asia and was once the rich dominant powerful empire of Asia about 1000 years ago.

I knew it!
Cambodia is the hub of Asia.

I guess this means Dokdo belongs to Cambodia?

Shocked

I heard Thai-Khmer border hostilities started when a backpacker, from an undisclosed Western country, wearing a Buddhist symbol on his t-shirt, was accosted, punched, and labeled a racist by another backpacker who mistakenly confused the Buddhist symbol of balance and peace as the Nazi swastika of hate and bias. Thus hostilities began as the two young men and their friends fought in the name of peace and denouncing ignorance whereever it may be found. Auhtorities intervened. Shocked
