Anyone know if these are being shown on Korean TV? I wouldn't mind getting out to a pub to watch 90; if anyone knows of a place in Itaewon that shows it, please let me know. Also, what does everyone think of the main matchups, Bisping and Leben as well as the middleweight championship bout, Silva vs Cote in 90. Just watched the preview for Bisping/Leben and it looks tasty, with both being a pair of hard-headed brawlers.

I have seen ads on Super Action indicating that UFC 90 will be played at 10:30 am on Sunday, October 26. Likely will have Korean commentating over most of the event. Its usually on in the evening on Sunday again.

I don't think that Korean tv will be showing the card for UFC 89, they haven't shown any of the other UK-based cards since I have been here anyways.

I will be downloading the torrents for both, half the fun of the UFC is Joe Rogan, love him as a color man.

Bisping/ Leben should be interesting. I'm a little surprised that Leben is still around, he has been under-performing his last few outings. Bisping is the golden boy' of the moment, and while he is a good fighter, he's somewhat over-rated imho.

For Silva/ Cote, its gonna take a miracle and an extremely lucky, well-placed, powerful punch for Cote to even stand a chance. Silva is a disciplined, patient fighter with killer instincts and precise, powerful strikes and all the skills to finish any fight on the feet or the mat.

Cheers for that. Gonna find and early opener in the 'won and see if I can watch it there with a few mates. Anyone who wants to join is welcome. If you go on mma-core.com you can see the full preview for Bisping/Leben as well as a short bit on the Jardine/Vera matchup. Nice footage of Leben on the Ultimate Fighter peeing on Thacker's bed as well as bio info on both.

Korea seems to only get the PPV's.

UFC 89 is free on spike tv, so it is doubtful that it will be on tv here.

I emailed the Wolfhound and they said they would put it on from 10.30, Wayne graciously agreed to let us in early. So who is up for it?

SPOILER ALERT, AVOID THIS POST IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE FIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Canny bit of work by Bisping, and a deserved outcome, even if the bout did not match up to the expectations (that I had anyhow). Full credit to Leben, he looks harder and better conditioned than before, but he is such a one dimensional fighter that picking him apart looks so easy. Despite a decent record (18-1 now), I think Bisping has a long way to go before he will be a threat to some of the bigger contenders.

Jardine Vera was an interesting match up, with two tough competitors putting on a decent display. Thought that a draw might have been a better decision, but Jardine is such an arkward package and will always be hard to beat.

Disappointed Vera did not press Jardine more. Jardine deserved the victory.

Bisbing-Leben was also a disappointing fight.

From the POV that they should have gone toe-to-toe? I don't think so. To engage Leben in a brawl would have one outcome only, straight knockout. Say what you like about the guy, but he is one of the toughest cookies in the UFC, brains or no. I thought Bisping fought smart as hell against an opponent who is a tricky prospect. He has a long way to go, but showed a side to his game that will stand him in good stead for the future.

I was surprised Leben stayed in it for as long as he did. I thought Bisbing would have knocked him out. Leben has never impressed me.

That is ok against a B rated fighter, but he didn't show me anything that would give Anderson Silva any problems.

Is there anyone who would give Silva a run for his money right now? I don't think so. Again, I never claimed the guy was that good
