I've been to this place three times now and I have to say it's pretty good. They have the usual suspects: lentil soup, hommus, falafel. Pita, kebab, etc. Also what looks like baba ghanouj but goes by another name. They have the hookah smoke as well. Right across from Dos Tacos, down the stairs.
I though the hommus was a little on the tart side, and the falafel a little mealy, but it's definitely my spot now. I've had better back in Bridgeview, IL, but this is good stuff nonetheless. Worth checking out if you like the Middle Eastern fare. |

I always go by there on my way to work, but never been in. Word to the wise, their signage sucks. Even if you strain to see, you'll have a hard time finding "Silk Road" on their sign. I think in hangul it says "arab food" in large letters. Orangish sign. Maybe I'll check it out tomorrow for lunch.
How are the prices? |

Yes. I should mention, the sign outside is not easy to catch and confusing. There's some pictures of Middle Eastern food outside on big placard. Hummus was 5k, Falafel was 5k, came with a lot pita. Otherwise, prices are a little on the high side. They do have a shawarma plate for 8k (I think) and the other dishes range from 10-14. |

Shawarma; the heart attack of the middle east. |
