BALL HOCKEY MANIACS, LEND ME YOUR EARS...

Now that Team Korea has returned from it's triumphant international debut in Japan, winning the Yamato Cup (www.yamatocup.com) in dramatic fashion, the organizers of Canada Ball Hockey Korea have decided to move on to the next stage in our development. We have created a full fledged BALL HOCKEY LEAGUE starting with the core of players from our traditional pick up game on Sunday. WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR NEW MEMBERS, especially now, to join the new Canada Ball Hockey Korea League starting November 2nd. Everyone is welcome.


WHEN: LEAGUE GAMES will commence on Sunday November 2nd. Either 12:00PM - 14:00PM OR 14:00PM - 16:00PM depending on what team you are on and the schedule.

LOCATION OF RINK: Sports Complex, Seoul. (Very Convenient)

DIRECTIONS TO RINK/LOCATION OF HOCKEY SHOPS: Upon Request.

CLOTHING/GEAR: Uniform shirt provided, whatever other exercise gear you feel comfortable in and running shoes. Nothing more. We RUN.


LEAGUE INFORMATION:

TEAMS AND CAPTAINS:

The Guzzlers (Cory)
The Knights (Brad)
The Devils (Kurt)
Apocalypse (Ed)

We need you to confirm your interest as soon as possible, since we will be starting November 2nd!

REGISTRATION FACTS: (what you get)

1. Your name submitted into the draft.
2. 7 weeks of ball hockey INSANITY (November 2nd-December 14th).
3. Uniformed shirt with your printed name & number on the back.
4. Weekly stats of all players (goals, assists, points, plus/minus) and goalies (GAA, Wins, SO)
5. Stats & game summaries will be printed in the Korean Herald. For those of you that like publicity, your ego stroked, something to show your partner or you would just like to get a keepsake from your stay in Korea this will be unique. People at home would love to see it and those of you who are teachers - your students will love it.
6. End of season awards banquet at our sponsor's bar.(TBA)
7. Bragging rights if you outperform your mates.
8. A forum to build solid relationships and friendships. This really is a great group of people.
9. The chance to win the inaugural (TBA) CUP!!! Championship/Consolation matches & Awards banquet will be held on December 14th)

i'm interested, depending upon where 'sports complex, seoul' is located. i'm also wondering about sticks (i don't have one).

1. Sports Complex is on green line #2. (#218) It's 10 minutes from Gangnam or 5 minutes from Jamsil in Seoul.

2. Sticks - we have extra sticks for newcomers to use, but if you are going to sign up for the league you should get your own stick. I can provide directions to the few hockey shops in Seoul or in Anyang. Also easy to get too. If you want to play let me know so you can register and send the registration fee.
