The questions in this quiz are so obviously biased and wrongheaded that one can question the logic ability of the authors and certainly it is their intent to promote their own bias.

This question, for example:

Quote:
No one chooses his or her country of birth, so it's foolish to be proud of it.

While it may seem that what they are promoting is some idealized view of humanity, this ignores that there are legitimate reasons to be "proud" of a country.

I would be proud of a country that had been able to remain neutral and stay out of all wars for, say 200 years. If I happened to be from that country, there would still be a reason to be proud of such a country. So, answering this question with such an understanding will give a skewed result to one's results, since the authors didn't think of this possibility.

Likewise:

Quote:
There is now a worrying fusion of information and entertainment.

Many people will agree with this, yet they will have different views of the cause and different views of how to ameliorate this "problem."

There is no reason to go on.

This quiz suffers from such muddled logic and questions containing multiple elements that the outcomes are only marginally reflective of the political positions of the individuals taking the test.

Only the Nolan quiz, especially an expanded version of the Nolan quiz, with clearcut single issue questions yields an accurate picture of the participants' political views. Of course, it is that embarrassing accuracy that is so off putting to some people.

It was never all that serious, dude.

The question about astrology is the worst.

Post us the nolan quiz and let's start again.
