|
|
Ok lets talk about what the possibilities are of what happens to us the moment we die..
So here we are, walking talking beings enjoying life! then a theif takes our last breath away from us and now we have just died!
so what happens??
1: Our spirit lifts out of our body and floats to god to be judged like some movie.?
2: we awake in some other place and say to ourselves "damn that was cool" this game of life is way cool! Im going back in for another turn!
so...........
others any ideas? |

I have no beliefs, but have imagined there's a moment, very brief, where all experiences in your life meet in a flash, known to you and all people you have met, even those you met only once for only a minute. When this happens you and everyone you have ever come in contact with are completely infused with all your life has been. Then you expire. |

There's quite a few scenarios that could happen, but here are a few;
This dude was about to go to hell until he had a revelation of God's love.

This guy goes to hell, but God has mercy on him and brings him back.

However, I highly recommend you to not wait until you are on death's door to make your decision. Make it now! |

I believe that when you die, your soul goes to the North Pole where you are forced into slave labour making toys for Santa Claus. |

When was your birthday? Death is exactly like what happened before that.
Before you were you born, you didn't exist. After you die, you won't exist. Catch up on some lovely sleep. |

First you need to understand that your real self is distinct from the body...
At the moment of death, the physical body is thrown into turmoil as all its systems break down, and the mind of a conditioned soul with no spiritual training (to fix one's consciousness on transcendental sound or form of God) tends to get bewildered and often overwhelmed with fear (especially if he's generated a lot of bad karma/sinful deeds.)
The process of dying is elaborately described (from a Vedic perspective) here:
http://www.hknet.org.nz/death-dying.html
A pure devotee's prayer to die while the mind is in a sound condition is presented here:

It is judged, and if it wasn't sinful, it goes to Heaven. Same thing happens to your fingernail clippings and shedded hairs. When you get to Heaven there'll be a big bed of your hair and fingernails waiting for you. |
