http://metropolitician.blogs.com/scribblings_of_the_metrop/2008/10/here-are-the-pe.html

This is about my cousin's high school football coach:
http://www.news-press.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20081003/NEWS01/81003009/1002

A small northwest Florida high school football coach decided it would be a good idea to mock the Obama campaign by writing on the clas chalkboard: C-H-A-N-G-E "Come Help A N*gger Get Elected"

Of course, this has caused a very serious controversy, but the all white school board voted to suspend him for only 10 days without pay.
For now, he gets to keep his job!

I don't think this is the end of it.

The ridiculous ignorance and hate from these people is getting scary.
It is a total embarassment for all Americans!

On the lighter side, this SNL bit was funny:

I seriously wonder how anyone can support McCain but when you look at some of the people in these vids it's clear why: they're insane!

Easy now. He's not an arab, nor is he a terrorist. He's just close friends with both. You'll see...

I didn't say on top right now you slobber of Canadian knob. Unless you had your head sphincter-gripped through History 101 you are well aware that the US has been at the top at various times and technically still is. People who generalize tend to be quite ignorant in their assertations.

a) it wasnt unilateral
b) wasnt an actual war- pre planned..
c) america baited iraq into war- As early as July 1990 General Schwarzkopf ran computerized war games pitting United States troops against the Iraqi military. It also alleged that the United States along with Kuwait baited Iraq into invading Kuwait. The Commission stated that when Iraq threatened Kuwait prior to invasion, the United States did nothing. When George Bush announced that United States troops were to go to Saudi Arabia the Saudis did not feel they were in danger. According to the commission, this deployment prevented any Arab resolution of the matter.
President Bush from August 2, 1990, prevented any interference with his plans to destroy Iraq economically and militarily.

The commission felt that President Bush built up forces in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf with the intention of invading Iraq. It was alleged that President Bush coerced the United Nations into a series of resolutions aimed at Iraq. The commission noted that Bush refused to meet with Iraq to discuss a peaceful solution. In other words, Bush refused to allow Iraq to save face, which is a cultural trait of Arab nations.
Bush ordered the destruction of facilities essential to civilian life and economic productivity throughout Iraq.

anyways, who couldnt beat the iraqis ? lol , oh yeah....

The Iraqis are beating themselves.

Considering that the French have Algeria and Indochina, the British have the Suez War, the USSR Afghanistan, and the Chinese their own incursion into Vietnam, it pretty much looks like all aggressive wars are losers.

Listen, I don't really care to get into this pissing contest, but I think its amusing that the Gulf War isn't to be counted. As for the allegation that the US pre-planned the Gulf War, even if that were to grant such a thing, how does that make it less a war. 'Oh, its no fair, you guys planned ahead.' In fact, I'd argue that, given your argument, the US-European coalition can score a win in a war of aggression against Iraq. Given that the USSR, Chinese, and the colonial powers all have losses (Britain has a win in the Falklands), that's not a bad comparative record.
