Of course, so many women are killed all over the world by men in India, America, and the Middle East.

See, the difference is in most of the modern world it's not considered OK. That's the god damn problem with Islam. Sure, every religion has radicals and they can do messed up things.

Only problem is they're calling the shots within Islam, and where are the Muslims to speak up against it?....whoops yeah they don't. The sad fact is I'm sure it's a fine religion, but when the moderates don't stand up to the extremists then we get some trouble.

True,

And we in the west have had centuries of social change and the rise of reason and enlightenment. This has allowed for individuality, the rise of freedoms and tolerances. This has not been by only Europeans, but individuals from all over that see the value of life and our environment. Our western culture is not "our's is better" but rather "ours given and made by those of the world, is better". Our western culture has been made by the influences of many from all over that have striven for a better way to life. Where life is valued and compassion is real and the state is there to help and aid. And damn if it's not perfect, but it's a pretty decent collective effort that we have made. Our police for the most part work, we have social welfare states, we have employment benefits, we have value as people in the face of others including our government, and thats' pretty impressive. Now imposing tribal traditions and literal translations of Muhammed from 700 year ago Arabia demanding we are to be accepting of them is simply not acceptable.

Being tolerant doesn't mean total acceptance. I will accept someones culture and beliefs but I will succinctly tell them they are being archaic and quite wrong when they are imposing on our sense of compassion and freedoms. It is not ok to keep your women locked up or beat them or kill them when you live in Europe or North America (or anywhere really), it is not ok to have slave factories in LA because you do it in China, it is not ok to have Sharai Law in our nations because it serves your religion better, it is not ok to remove freedoms from your children when you move to a nation that is supposed to guarantee them and it is not ok for us in the west to turn a blind eye and say it is all ok because it is their culture thus making it allowed.

It's their culture. Smoking chronic is part of mine. They'd probably kill me for doing it. I'd kill them for killing their daughter. Who's right? Who's wrong? I'm not seriously equating the possible events, but...

Personally, I think all religions are a joke/jake.

There is about one murder/missing daughter in the muslim community in the uk every week.

What do the government do? Make love to the muslim council of Britain and its firebrand clerics.

That's right...but there was that case a few months back of that Muslim guy honour-killing his 16-year-old daughter in Mississauga (or possibly Brampton?) Yet The Great White North will always be too liberal and "progressive" for the death penalty. Shame.

Her dad will be criminalized and will serve life in prison. Capital punishment is another debate. Canada still stands its ground much firmer than Europe, however:
