Uh...you might want to look at the time stamps on my posts when I said I was 'moving on." I wrote that AFTER the post you indicated, not before. Shocked

I am truly sorry for all the emotional discomfort your error has caused you, but I have no control over what posts you read and when.

As for the detailed explanation of your reasons why you gave inaccurate information -- well, at least now you are acknowledging that it was inaccurate, so I guess we are moving in a positive direction. Before, you denied any discrepancy and said I was twisting your words.

Doesn't seem to me that any of these issues are my doing, though, and I already tried to bury the hatchet with you, so again, good luck. I think you should move on, too, Crescent.

Awright?

Good luck with the sale, Crescent. However, there are a few things that have been made clear in our discussion:

1) You are not an idiot
2) You never had any intention of selling me $3,000 worth of software as a freebie with your IMAC, despite telling this forum (in bold type) that you would, if asked. When I did ask, and even offered a small premium over your asking price, you said:

You own a production company and clearly understand the value and transferability of software. Therefore:

C) You were not communicating the terms of the sale in a completely forthright manner, and obviously you knew you weren't. Granted, I backed you into a corner on the license issue. I'm not calling you a liar, per se. I am merely suggesting you have some 'challenges' ahead in communicating fair value and your true intentions to prospective buyers. Sometimes that's difficult in an impersonal, online forum.

I think that's a fair and balanced way to put it. Wink

I thought you "moved on", Trevor? So, by moving on, you call me an 'idiot' and continue to cut and paste your crap?

Life sucks. You can't get full riights to all that stuff for 50bucks. Start another thread about it, call your mommy and cry.
You're right, I never had any intention of giving away my rights. If there was a way to make a transfer and keep my rights, I would. But such is not the case.

Each software license I have is different. Despite what your crystal ball tels you, I didn't know the specifics of each license. After checking, I realized a transfer would bee too much to bear. I intended on offering the apps as an incentive. I've said that countless times.

You acted like an ass. You manipulated the discussion (and still are), so I tried to tell you to fark off as diplomatically as possible.

Now, you are STILL suggesting my pricing has something to do with the software. It doesn't.
So, as idiots go, take a good hard look in the mirror. It took you 8 attempts to cut and paste your last post. Maybe computers are too much of a challenge for you?

Awright?

Laughing You have quite a hold on this thread for someone who's moved on.
I'll keep defending myself as long as you continue to rehash the argument, even if you can't cut and paste very well.

I admit I didn't check the details before offering a full transfer, but that doesn't mean I was being deceitful. It also doesn't mean the deal is any less fair. You were twisting my words.

Now, before you write again... proof read. Try another angle, maybe. Did you call your mom yet?
The idiot, liar thing is ...well, let's just say I've moved on. Laughing

FIXED!

Crescent - I'm selling a computer. You can use the software as a bonus.

Trevor - Unlicensed software does not add value to a used computer

Crescent - Okay, since I have a production company, I will tell the software comapines you are an employee and you can buy updates whenever you want.

Trevor -Buy updates on software that I don't own?

Crescent - Alright, alright, I will give you the software outright, if I can't find another buyer.

Trevor - I appreciate it. I will even pay a premium over your asking price for your trouble.

Crescent - Wait, I changed my mind. And how dare you for trying to get free software! What, do you think , I'm an idiot.

Trevor - You suggested it, not me.

Crescent - I did not! You're twisting my words!

Trevor: It's in PLAIN ENGLISH! Anbody that reads English can see for themselves. You said so right here, you will transfer the software if I buy it. I said okay, I'll buy it. You backed off. It's in PLAIN ENGLISH. Aw, let's forget about it.

Crescent - Forget about it! Why you dastardly villian! You have destroyed my honor and I will kill you!

To be continued.

*sigh*
More fabrication, i see. Move on Trevor, move on. You can't get something for nothing, and you're not succeeding in ruining the sale..
1. The updates are free, even for unregistered users. They're called patches.
2. Your 'premium' was 50bucks on $3000.
3. You twisted my words when you suggested I was being dishonest.

Oh yeah, and my dad's gunna beat up your dad. Laughing

The computer will be sold pending another visitor next weekend. Best offer takes it. Thanks for all the extra attention.
