An excellent series on the meth problem in the United States (which is seriously impacting Western Canada as well).
Are we using the criminal justice system to deal with a public health issue? |

Thanks for the post.
Meth is a serious epidemic. Interesting to watch.

FYI there was just a similar program today on CNN about Meth as well. I believe it was on World's Untold Stories. |

This is an outstanding documentary. Steve Suo at the Oregonian should get a Pulitzer. And a medal. |

The most interesting part of it is that they could ELIMINATE meth by outlawing the pharmeucital companies that make it. It is one of the FEW hard illegal nasty drugs that is entirely possible and able to completely eliminate. Apparently Qualuudes were eliminated the same way as Crystal meth could be.
BUT, again, of course, the U.S. government takes so many bribes from pharmeucitical companies, so chrystal meth is essentially a LEGALIZED HARD DRUG in the States.
So anyone who says the U.S. should legalize hard nasty drugs, where CRYSTAL METH is THAT LEGALIZED DRUG. |
