| No way that they admit that their "great", "dear" or whatever leader is dead. No way they show that weakness. They would prop his mummified and decaying corpse upright and would have generals next to him. The shades would help pull it off because you can't see his eyes. They could position his arm(despite the rigor mortis setting in) so that he is pointing or doing something. It would truly be great if this *beep* is dead, but I don't think we get that lucky. |
Sure they would. They didnt hide Kim Il Sungs death
MY guess is the reason North Korea is banning all foreigners beginning monday is so they can "Mourn" his death. |
The difference is there was a clear successor to Kim Il Sung. That isn't the case this time. |

Well looks like no announcement. I wonder what happened. I have 2 theories:
1. The Japanese News Paper got it wrong and their sources were wrong OR
2. The sources were right, but right now there is some kind of internal power struggle going on in NK, and who ever had decided on the announcement doesnt have the upper hand right now. |

| He's going to announce his endorsement of Obama and show polaroids of them palling around when they were young. |

I saw this in the other forum as well and am curious what the news is. It would be strange if he died right before the November election in the US.
It seems as though we may have a few very important announcements in the next few days. The question is: will it make a big difference in the outcome of the election? If you are right and he's dead, I'm not sure it changes things that much right away. |
Why would this make a big difference in the US election?
Or any difference in fact? |
It probably wouldn't, but you never really know. |

It is kind of strange they've been talking about this BIG news for two days and yet not a word so far. I wonder if they've been coordinating something with the Chinese if indeed there is a change of leadership. |

'Coordinating something with the Chinese' is very intriguing and something I hadnt thought of....I think there should be much more speculation on here. I dont have a job and have been waiting for this announcement for 3/4 days now so I wanna hear some theories of what it might be.
So, obviously that little headcase is dead. But, as the poster above implies, have the North Koreans taken the opportunity to invite China in? China could then industrialise North Korea, bringing it up to modernish standards and expanding their evil empire. |

This could be true to. I for one am confident that the little f*cker is dead, and there is a power struggle going on in the NK govrnment right now. |

Could be he ain't dead but in a state of suspended animation,
frozen in the middle of a heart beat or some such. |
