probably too late now.
Busan is a little bit big.
I'll say this, if you are gonna hang around in seomyun...there are QUITE a few yogwons in the area (esp. in front and right ....i believe)
if in PNU....it's a VERY short cab ride to oncheonjang. There is a place there called the Manhattan. It's the nicest hotel i've been to in korea (a shower with 7 heads!!!!) Tell the taxi driver to go to Busan bank. Get out in front of the bank. Walk away from the intersection down the one dark road (going towards a busy main road).
There will be a very small road/almost like alley, go down it and you'll see the manhattan....or ask around there...i'm sure people will know.
OR, if you go to HAeundae beach, there is a jimjilbang there that was FULLY ok. Walk to the hill side of the beach...if you can read korean, i'm sure you'll see the sign. It's sort of near a dock where they launch boats....but those'll probably be gone. They have a very nice view of the beach and ocean.

There is a place near the Mariott on Hyundae beach called the B&B. It is really cheap around this time of year. Good view. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. We stay there most times. Even in summer when it is a little xe. |

Seomyeon definitely the best bet I think - plenty to choose from, cheap but nice and easy access to most places in the city. I've been to 3 in the area behind Lotte, which were all excellent.
Haeundae I found a bit pricier, although probably less so at this time of the year. Also found the seaside places seem to think (probably sensibly from their point of view) that they need to make less effort to get customers and consequently were generally not as good. |
