His name isn't Joe, he isn't a plumber, he is behind on his taxes and he was a plant my either Fox or the McCain peeps (is there any difference?). He does not earn 250k but 50-60k. Look how he would do:

He would be in the second quintile.
McCain does not respect the intelligence of his base. And that his base is all hot'n'bothered with Joe means he shouldn't. |

All I know is that Basic Income Tax is the most grueling course I've taken yet in Law School. Its starting to come altogether, but damn is the Code written poorly and are some concepts needlessly complex. |

I worked for half a decade at a Canadian tax software company and I had a hard time grasping the American tax form the first time I had to file my taxes in the USA. |

All I know is the U.S. tax situation is so complex, that you hire a lawyer to catch the MANY MANY loopholes so you hardly have to pay anything.
You could technically even incorporate yourself and family, put your kids on the payroll and get cars and computers and write them off as a business expense, etc.
There are countless books published on how to make all kinds of money and work the system using the loopholes of the tax system.

Leno just told a good one....
Why are Republicans so happy to talk about Joe the plumber?
It let's them talk about a guy who gets down on his knees, in front of a toilet who isn't Sen. Larry Craig.
I"m still in knots...

I'm afraid that if John McCain wins the election that Joe the Plumber will be assassinated. |
