I'm not thinking of killing myself, we kill ourselves eventually anyway. Death is like travelling, 'cept you go into a different environment instead of an airplane.

Dude, death is like falling asleep, not dreaming, and never waking up.

Nice

I like reading books.

What far out and strange corner of this world haven't I turned yet? I'm looking for the next plauteau.

Is death the next high?

I guess if you are not high enough you missed the true spiritual thing.
You are still stuck in your mind if you think it is about gaining experiences.

The true mind is happy just being and enjoying life.
The monkey mind looks for experiences and stimuli to keep it happy.

If you had really done the spiritual thing you would not need to ask.

Cliched spiritual answer from somebody who has read and memorized their texts on a clear sunny day.

I guess you think I am talking from others experience. Well I am far enough along that I don't thnk it's about gaining stuff in the material world.
I speak about stuff I experienced.

It's your arrogance that is holding you back. Good luck. The one that knows and the one that copies sound the same and a beginner can't tell them apart.

Sounds like your ego is pretty polished.

Experience is in the past, knowledge is based upon the past.

There's no such thing as spiritual evolution...what would that be? More knowledge? Greater experiences?

There's nothing wrong with the ego by the way, yours is coated Spiritual.

Being and becoming are both happening. From one perspective there is no evolution and on another level we do evolve.

Your question to start this thread was what's next? I observed that you might be missing out on a deeper experience of yourself and life. I did not reply to sound like a expert. I just as another person was offering some advice to be helpful. I am sorry if I sounded arrogant.

When I get to the what's next stage or I feel bored I have learned that it is just my mind sitting on the surface. When I am experiencing greater depth I am content with what's happening.

Most of our minds have trouble with just being an average simple person. I know my mind struggles with that. Our mind always wants new experiences and wants to feel superior.

I am, sorry that when I write can sound arrogant but I do get the feel that you have not really reached those spiritual depths where life is so amazing and there is no separation between you and reality.

If you have I am sorry for thinking you have not. If you still have your mind chatting away constantly them more meditation practice will be of value.

I guess I don't see the path as something you try and then move on to other adventures. I would call that increased suffering and looking for love in all the wrong places.

anyways good luck.

I think I've heard of it under a different name. There's a community in south america of people that take it as part of a ritual and a Google documentary about a guy that took it.

I think if I took it I'd never come back.

I think DMT would be good for him. Would give him a rocket ship ride to what he failed to find on his short spiritual journey. Those that don't know, don't know that they don't know. Weird thing is they think they know.

You're thinking about ayausca.

I tried it in Tokyo this past summer. I only had a small amount, but it was amazing!
