There's no way in phucking Hell I would teach in Saudi Arabia. For starters, I like being around chicks and don't like being around dudes. I couldn't imagine being without cold beer and chicks, or at least porn as a minimum, for a whole year. Additionally, for every Jewish male who calls me an "Arab pig" or "terrorist" for my Arab-looking physical traits, it seems like there's an Arab male who hates me just as much for being ethnically Jewish. Whereas, in east Asia, I'm just another foreigner.

I do however wonder what them Saudi women look like under them burkas.

I read somewhere that the men who have multiple wives in the KSA often are treated to the fact that the women feel they have to compete against one another for their husbands attention.

That would be pretty awesome! Laughing

Supposedly they are mad for sexy lingerie over there (at least amongst the affluent families) and the women use as much sex appeal as possible to win the favor of the husband amongst the harim.

You would have to be a dedicated nut to teach in Saudi Arabia. The kind

of crazy who does charity work in Iraq or Afghanistan, someone who can

find love and happiness in everything. Even vicious, medievel values that

have no place in our world.

It's an interesting thought to base yourself in KSA to trek the middle East and Africa and is not far from Europe for a nice civilized Summer vacation. Why are the requirements so ridiculously high for a teaching job?
