| Not quite so simplified, but sure something like this. Personally, I believe that a lot of muslims will convert to Christianity before there is a great conflict. |
And you believe in witches and every single guru you've ever talked about on Dave's ends up, two months later, involved in a sex scandal. Odd that.
But oddly many muslims believe many christians will convert to islam before the end. |
Every single guru? haha |
And you believe the world is 6,000 years old. And you believe rock 'n' roll is the tool of the devil! And you believe crime is caused by demonic possession. And you believe some huckster christian couple can make gem powder appear by the power of jesus. And you believe muslims are going to hell because they can't get to a PC bang and learn about Jesus.
You're pretty stupid. In my opinion. |

| Visa finances itself with US$ dominated money market funds and commercial markets. There already is a global currency and it says "United States Treasury Note" on it. |

Which is backed by the amount of trees the country can get. So perhaps our one world currency should be trees. But then the Saudi's are still screwed. |

HAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
sorry but I think that's probably the single most crazy thing I've ever read on any internet forum.
What makes you think such a thing? |

We'll see a one world currency just as soon as we have a one world economy. That will probably happen sometime after we leave this planet and colonize space. Not holding my breath for it.
I tell you what FiveEagles. I bet you'll never live to see the day when that prophecy comes true. The chances of Muslims converting to Christianity is about the same as Christians becoming Jews. It's a retrograde step-at least that's how they see it. And as for atheism. Once you open that door, it's open forever. |

| We have around 5 to 50 years left. If it goes much beyond that, I will be amazed. There is no way, this world will last more than 50 years the way we are abusing it. |

MARCH 24, 2009 China Takes Aim at Dollar
BEIJING -- China called for the creation of a new currency to eventually replace the dollar as the world's standard, proposing a sweeping overhaul of global finance that reflects developing nations' growing unhappiness with the U.S. role in the world economy.
The unusual proposal, made by central bank governor Zhou Xiaochuan in an essay released Monday in Beijing, is part of China's increasingly assertive approach to shaping the global response to the financial crisis. |

I agree totally. With the problems happening in the Euro-Zone, one can only imagine how screwed up things would be with a global currency. Besides, I don't think there's enough trust between many countries to even get it started.
I think the whole issue is a panic reaction to the debt levels in the USA. The US economy is looking more and more like a mathematical impossibility, and the dumbasses in Washington DC and New York are sapping what's left of anyone's confidence in the US economy.
Everyone knows things are screwed up bigtime, but nobody knows what to do.
My prediction is that the dollar will eventually cease to be the big dog, but no single currency will really take its place, and there will not be a single world currency. Yet, trade will still happen just as it always has throughout human history. |

I don't think you'll find anyone here who would say they think it's would be a good thing. I think we can all agree that it would be a bad idea, but
what has ever stopped the powers that be from bringing bad ideas to fruition? |
