Still no reliable crack for Far Cry 2, AFAIK. Give it a day or two.

They look like fakes. 4GB seems a bit small for a next-gen PC shooter.
The XBOX 360 version weighs in at around 7GB.

PC version has the ability to be archived where as Xbox version doesn't since it needs everything in expanded mode.

Plus its demonoid in all my time there I have never ran across a fake. Demonoid mods are pretty damned good.

The file put on Demonoid 2 days ago isn't a fake. Many users say it installs fine and that the menus can be opened at the start. But the actual gameplay can't be started until someone cracks it properly.

It's smaller than expected because it's an English only version. Not multi-lang. All the foreign languages have been stripped out of it.

I've no doubt it will be cracked today or tomorrow. Even though it is a harder version of Securom than usual.

The crackers always get it!! Very Happy

I downloaded a cracked copy of FC2. Good story, pretty graphics, big guns and lots of explosions.
What else do you want from a shooter?

Got the crack and installed FC2 on Wednesday. Played about 2 hours so far.

The gameplay is alright. I'm a fairly purist shooter fan, so the additional things you have to do which are not related to walking around wasting baddies and blowing stuff up seem a bit of a chore to me.

The graphics are good but not amazing. If you're used to Crysis at high-resolution and high settings then FC2 won't impress much.

Well worth a download though.

Call me old school, but I still like them old 2d games.

There are free versions of King's Quest, Quest for Glory, Sonic, Mario, Mega Man over at downloads.com

There's even something called Virtual NES (VNes) that you can play online. You don't need to install or download anything. They have old goodies like Ducktales, Adventure Island etc.
