I think that Randy will pull it out. He's beaten big guys before (Gonzaga, Sylvia) and Brock just isn't as well-rounded a fighter as Randy. Couture's years and years of experience will definitely be an advantage that should lead to his victory.

Brock wins
1) randy is getting to old and never had knock out power.
2) randy has trouble with big wrestlers.

Brock isn't really that good, BUT styles make fights.. and this is the ufc using randy one final time to sell Brock.

I think Brock will win just in sheer athleticism and power. However, I don't think he deserved a shot like this-hasn't earned it. Seems nobody will beat Fedor though.

Pro MMA is very entertainment driven - not a pure sport - so whoever can bring in the most pay-per-view buys deserves to get the title shot.

I think Brock has learned from his WWE experience how to play up the heel role, and fans will increasingly pay to see him lose - especially if he were to smash a premiere baby-face like Couture (which wouldn't surprise me at all.)

Another interesting fight recently signed (by the Affliction promotion) is Fedor v Andrei Arlavski. Somebody posted an amusing video clip for it on youtube:

Last time I saw Couture fight, he got his ass beat badly and he's getting old. The other fighter I don't really know so it's hard to say. When is George St. Pierre fighting next? I love to watch him.

I do like Randy a lot but I think Lesnar has EXPLOSIVE power and Randy won't be able to keep up. Tim Sylva got beat by Randy and I thought that was an AWESOME fight and a total upset, yet I think Lesnar has a hell of a lot more power than Sylva ever did so it'll go to Lesnar. Still Randy will give it his all.

On another note this weekend is the main event over in England I believe that has Michael Bisping taking on Chris Lieban. I've never been a Michael Bisping fan so I would LOVE to see his ass get knocked out by Chris Lieban. Lieban has trained hard for this fight so I don't think he'll gas out like he did in his last one. Still you can never count Lieban out even if he DOES gas out as he STILL has knockout power at any time. That's what happened with his last fight and he surprised everyone by winning. Go Lieban!!!!

Will be a huge fight, I posted about it on another thread. Can't understand the hatred for Bisping, seems ok to me, especially since he went the hard way about getting to where he is. Leben seems a bit of a jerk, but who cares, the guy has got a chin made of cast iron and fists to match. I pick the Count to do it, but only just, as he is marginally the better fighter.

Brock Lesnar will smash Randy Coture and that will boost ratings for the UFC. What would Dana White have to loose?

Kurt Angle could take them both on at the same time...

Now, if I could be serious for a moment, gotta go with Couture.
