What I hate more than their music is their self rightious fans who can't see through the junk they spout. Only trailer park trash listen to these boring old hippy farts. |

Their drummer writes mediocre, self-obsessed books. |

I love Rush, because their aweome bass player had an important role in the seminal gang-fighting movie, 'The Warriors.' He's the rat-faced one who sings 'Warriorrrrs, come out to play-eee-ay' at the end.
And here he is, at the beginning of the movie, shooting a guy and framing our heroes...
Geddy Lee rawks! Ugliest man in rawk!

Wow, they got into a really cool movie. Bet they have an awesome light show too. How about the wanker drummer who throws his sticks up inthe air and catches them continues his stupid drum solo. |

I don't like them much either, but I bet they're better than your band. |

You've never seen Fishead Soup's band. They are totally awesome.
I once worked at a bingo hall with a woman who looked like Geddy Lee. |

Just let me grab my flux capacitor, so that we can travel back to 1985 and make this topic totally radical. |

I used to do rush back in the day. Could get it down on the corner. I'm not too keen on the band though. They are a non-issue to me. In fact, most Canadian bands are a non-issue to me with the exception of DOA, Riptides, and SNFU and maybe one or two others that I can't remember. |

Geddy's voice does sound like nails on a chalkboard, but some feel they're just as influential to prog rock as King Crimson. Not my opinion.
It's good tailgating givin'er music. Not my cup of tea, but effing respect to having been so prolific. |

I can just imagine that. Was it all about the time they spent on Kho San road. I bet there was a lot of references to drug use. With their cash they would be able to pay off the police. I believe there's a movie about it called" The Beach" staring Leonardo De Caprio.
Was Geddy Lee able to get laid at Nana plaza? Or was Geddy Lee mistaken for a Lady boy? |

Sounds like it was a big hit with the Tolkien, Dungions and Dragons nerds. I might have listened to it when I was painting my lead minitures. That must have been 1977 when the original Lord of the Rings animation came out. Battle of Evermore by Led Zepelin was popular too. |
