How about voter turnout? Think it'll be higher than usual?

You mean besides ACORN registering dead, multiple, and young voters? Who knows.

Who do you choose: Bush 3 or Marx 2? It's a shame our country has come down to this.

I believe the election is already planned anyways. With that said, I think the people in charge have chosen Obama to be the next prez.

I don't know. Now I feel depressed.

Posts like this explain a lot about American politics.

What exactly does it explain?

When you have a person who is university educated, but who believes the election is "already planned anyways", calls McCain Bush 3 (he's not), Obama Marx 2 (what?!), and who claims to be an independent, but can't spell the word, it goes a long way towards explaining what a mess US politics is.

MollyBloom, sorry for insulting you in this post, you seem like a nice person on this forum, but what you wrote annoyed me, hence the response.

I have to admit that Molly's post was very cynical.

I too believe that we have been faced with a choice of the two most positive candidates in a long time.

I mean what kind of choice was Dole v Clinton or Gore V Bush or Bush v Kerry.

I think in this election the cream rose to the top in both parties, just compare to the last few elections.

You don't find anything wrong with a voter registry group commiting voter fraud, especially when that group expresses staunch support for Obama? They are the ones giving themselves the bad name, not me. By the way, the ACORN problem is a fact, not an opinion. Do research.

You really should do some more research yourself. How exactly does the fact that some minimum-wage ACORN temps handing in fraudulent voter registration applications - in an attempt to steal money from ACORN - influence the actual voting in any way? If they register Mickey Mouse to vote, Mickey Mouse still has to show up at the voting booth with his Mickey Mouse ID.

Besides, those fraudulent applications were flagged by ACORN and invalidated anyways. ACORN, like Ayers, is a lame issue and polls are showing that people agree. It was a bad McCain strategy.

You should STILL vote thrid party. It is NOT a wasted vote. In fact, as one of a relatively small number of votes, you could argue that it is worth MORE than one of tens of millions for a major party candidate. Is your one vote going to decide the next president?

It is not wasted. If there are significant numbers of thrid party votes, and remember that a couple of percent can be very significant, major parties will take notice, and it does affect the way they formulate their future platforms and conduct their future campaigns.

I suggest you write in Ron Paul, but also consider Bob Barr of the Libertarian Party (whom Ron Paul supports), or Ralph Nader, now on the ballot of the most states he has ever been, and who really deserves it as he has done more to protect Americans than probably anyone else.
