Persecuted by Gatsby and all of those whom he represents in American politics until she resigns all offices, disappears into obscurity, or simply suicides. |

She's had some remarkable similarities to Stockwell Day so far, except that she isn't on the top of the ticket so anger over choosing her from within the party is directed towards McCain instead. She still will have that curse for the next while that putting her on a major ticket = lose, so she'll probably end up with a somewhat authoritative but out of the spotlight position in a government later on. |

She's too full of herself for suicide. I'll go for the reality show. Maybe she'll be on the next season of "The Apprentice". |

She'll be governor of Alaska for as long as she wants. She's a superstar there.
The fact that those of us from the lower forty-eight (and Hawaii) think she's Gumpish will only help her career. |

To treat her more gently than others in public life would be behaving in a sexist way towards her. In fact, people have been easier on her than is deserved, I think. Sher's a tough cookie, and I suspect she thrives on the attention, did very well on a television comedic satire show recently, or so I gather.
I can see her enjoying an incarnation as a judge on "American Idol." Or perhaps she'll remain in politics, and become a staple of the evangelical crowd, appearing with Pat Robertson and his crowd - is he still around?
Most likely, though she'll finish her term and drop into obscurity after a couple of years. |

Minor celebrity, guest appearances.
In the future they will ask her questions like 'so what was it like to be so close to power in Washington DC'?
She will answer kind of schoolgirlish....'well, I've never been around reporters, and they were so hard. But it was exciting y'know, to meet men like John McCain who is really a war hero, to meet him face to face. It was all just really exciting' and blah blah blah. |

Unless she gets challanged by a strong primary opponent, she'll likely be relected for another 4 years. At least that would be my guess. |

She has only been a Governor since January 2007....so she still has awhile to go. |
