| I just read in another post that he died a few months ago.Is this true?? If it is true, man that really sucks. I always liked his posts and his take on things in Korea. While I always say things to mess with people's heads...he was always fair and had a good temperment concerning issues here. If this is true...you will be missed. R.I.P. bro |

Louie mentioned it in the thread for published authors. He was friends with Lestat in Korea and the US apparantely. |

Yeah, fair enough......
One of my best friends while I was in Korea and here was also one of my most biting critics.......he read the whole manuscript and crossed out the ones he said were not worth being in print, which was about 80% of them.......you think I am being defensive now, you should've seen me with him, but I guess it is different when criticism comes from a stranger or a friend.
You might know him, his username here was Lastat- I worked with him from 2000 to 2001 and we remained good friend all the way until he left Korea in 2006. When I arrived back in the states in 2007, we became friends again and virtually neighbors (he live a couple towns over from me in New Haven)...........too bad he died 2 months ago. He would've jumped head over heels when he found out I got it published, even leaving the ones he said were crap........

| You beat me to it blurga....but anyways...I remember reading his posts and him saying that he was in his early-mid thirties. He was also enrolled in a graduate program. If its true..man thats just sad. |

| I just checked his name and looks like he hasn't posted since July..so its definitely possible. He was definitely a prolific poster and I'm kinda surprised that no one noticed that he was gone. I used to post as PimpofKorea for a relatively short time and after I got shut down I would still see people asking about where I went etc.etc. It kinda sucks that you have to be an extreme apologist/whiner/funny guy/shti stirrer to have people wonder about you on here. |

Wowzers, that's awful. Lastat once posted his pic in the 'how hot are you?' thread (handsome guy too).
Also if I recall, Lestat had either a military or navy past. |
