Well this wasnt a very big article and i just happened to stumble upon it checking the news this morning...
WTF - the caption is short but basically spells out what happened. Anyone know more details?

"No violence at school!: High schoolers march with the portrait of a friend who was beaten to death by a senior, calling for the school to take responsibility for the death Tuesday in Gangneung City, Gwangwon Province. Hong was beaten by the student council chief Monday because he didn�t attend a morning gathering. The student was sent to hospital later but died." |

| Damn...I would hate to be the senior responsible for that beating. Sad thing is he is a victim too as I am sure the school encourages this type of behavior to keep everyone in line. |
