|
|
So I got my 2nd paycheck with all deductions showing up:
Salary: 2,000,000
Pension: 90,000
Health: 50,800
Lunch: 46,200
Some kind of social security type of thing: 2,050
Housing Deposit: 300,000
Total received: 1,510,950
Does everyone have to pay the extra 2,050? It's not much but I've never heard of it. My coteacher says that it's for when you get old and need help fund.. and that she pays it too. ?_?
The first month I was only here for 1/2 a month so I got..
Salary: 1,000,000
Pension: 90,000
Lunch: 12,000 (about.. forget)
Housing Deposit: 300,000
Total received: 597,100 (about)
I didn't get my ARC until this month though so I'm really hoping they really paid that pension. I got a copy of the paystub though.
Does that look right? |

I've never heard of this either. The "get old and need help fund" should be what the pension is all about.
They took two housing deposits from you??? |

the standard housing deposit in PS contracts is 900 000, taken in payments of 300 000 per month for 3 months |

For a public school it looks pretty standard.
Your pension will be submitted along with the matching contribution for a total of 180k per month during your 1st year. It will fall (by 30%) during your 2nd year (since the contribution is only payable on your taxable income). |

I stand corrected. Others are bringing this to my attention as well. Although it's apparently limited to GEPIK. I'm with EPIK, and I didn't have to pay a deposit. |

You've mentioned this before. Must be something new. My pension payments have never gone down after my first year. |

Thanks for the answers though.. still wondering about the get old thing (thought that was what pension was too).
Why does it fall by the way? Is a part of it not taxable? |
