I bet Wyoming isn't that racist.
|
Ummm....maybe not racist as such, but maybe not all that open-minded either. Once upon a time, a long long time ago, I knew people who were terrified of the idea of going up (from Colorado) to Wyoming. They were sure the 'cowboys' in Wyoming would string them up to the nearest lamp post because of their long hair. Mathew Sheppard found out my friends were not all that wrong to be concerned.
Just next door to Wyoming (South Dakota), I once knew a girl whose mom and dad were taken from their home, tied to trees and burned to death because one was Indian and one was white. When I was campaigning for Gene McCarthy in '68, some of the students in Rapid City said that town deserved its reputation as the most racist city in the US.
It may seem like ancient and irrelevant history to some, but it doesn't to me. |

| How do you feel about MEChA and "La Raza" in California? |
Never heard of em till now, but I guess they're entitled to their opinion. |
You are giving the a pass? Are you against racism or not? |
...I'm for racism. |
Save the rolling eyes. Your position on MEChA certainly indicates this. Recuerdas: por la Raza, todo; fuera de la Raza, nada. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, right?
And in any case, glad we agree: there is a lot of racism, in all kinds of places, in the United States. |

Unless you are arguing against the First Amendment, your message is pointless. Gee imagine that.

I can't comment on Wyoming's racism myself, but I have driven around that state, and CHEYENNE is a strange feeling city!
I don't know how to explain it, but its a place that if you look at all 'city', you will seriously stand out. It has a very cowboyish feel to it. |

Chuckling.
That is why you keep responding. Or let me guess: yet another defiant and juvenile poster who suffers from lastworditis? Let us test this, Bangbayed. |

This is so over-the-top racist, I'm half-seriously wondering if it's an "Iron My Shirt" fifth-column operation. But the Republican club in question has apologized for mailing it out, so I guess it's legit. Bizarre.

Blacks are attacking whites who say they won't vote for Obama or have McCain T-shirts or bumper stickers. That's not racist is it?!? If you don't like it, don't look at it, liberal wanker! There is something called free speech, like it or not. Of course to lefties, the only ones allowed to have free speech is people who think like them! |

If you're talking about this incident, it was a hoax, so untie your panties and relax. There's only one side stooping to these lows and those seem to match their standings in the polls. |
