Two things: BMA suspect; and one cablenews network seems to be covering it while the other two seem not to be.
Also, for what you seem to be suggesting to be true, this would have to involve air-tight, undiscoverable police corruption. |

If it is not a hoax...unfortunate, all around. I imagine other such incidents might very well occur after B. Obama's probable victory. He and every other respectable African-American leader will have to find a way to stop it. |

I have a hard time with the "when he saw the McCain-Palin bumber sticker" part. Violent robberies do not go down like that at all.

...why would you say that blacks would attack whites in the face of an Obama victory? |
Multiple personal experiences with very militant, anti-white blacks in southern California. Martin Luther King Day, to cite another example, was sometimes a day for whites to stay away from school in Las Vegas. Several friends were actually beat up rather badly on one such day. An Obama victory will reunleash this energy, at least temporarily, I believe. He would not want it and he would do all he could to stop it. But it would still happen.
I do not consider these particular people "Obama supporters" or representative of African-Americans, either. They still exist, Mises. |

I call hoax. Does it really matter though? It has the potential to become one of those "iconic" symbols, whether is actually happened or not. I hope the truth is discovered as quickly as possible to limit the damage done.
If it does indeed to turn out to be a hoax the people involved should get jail time. Utterly irresponsible in the current (and any really) political climate. |

True. If ignorant black people can think O.J. was innocent, what's going to stop ignorant white people from believing in their own fairy tales? |

How so?
Only whites stand as aggressors in American society? While blacks only stand as victims?

Aside from Confederate wannabes always referring to MLK Day as "Ni--er Day" I've never noticed any racial tension associated with that holiday.
I think most Americans, even those of us who will be voting against Obama, will appreciate that our nation has finally progressed enough that it's actually possible for a black man to be elected President by the people of the United States of America. I think it will be the most special day in the lives of a lot of black Americans, especially those who had to give up their seats on the bus to whites or drink from a different water fountain. I don't think there will be violence.
Violence is usually a result of frustration and/or anger. If Obama loses, there could possibly be a few small protests and maybe some random violence. I don't think it would amount to much, though.
If Obama wins and gets shot, that would be the recipe for riots on an unprecedented scale and who could blame them, really. |

At some point she will have to admit it. The "black eye" is clearly make up, and there is a thumb smudge above the "b" scratch. The makeup is shiny, like, well, make up. It is so nakedly obvious. This woman has totally destroyed her life. |

Why go attack a bunch of whites when a bunch of whites just elected a black president. |
