I am wondering what everybody on this board thinks of the idea of the New World Order. Do you believe that it's all just a bunch of Alex Jones hogwash, or do you do you believe that 1984 is on it's way?
I've been watching a few videos here and there online about the nwo, and how ancient mystery religions link up with knights templars/Free Masons/illuminati.... all the way to modern corporations, with their logos that secretely represent the all seeing eye, or some pyramid of evil etc... I am not saying that I believe it, but it's all very interesting at least.
It's easy to get caught up in conspiracy theories, where people can play on coincidental meanings of words, and dates, an old man I once new used to say "Don't believe anything you hear, and only half of what you see", however I've seen enough (online) to make me think that the world isn't as clear but as I once thought it to be.
What do you think? |

If you do some real, factual research on the Knights Templar, and you will find that they were actually a charity organization. They didn't have any hidden agendas, they had nothing to do with the Holy Grail, they were just a bunch of good Christian folk who tried to help people.
I don't know much about the other stuff you mentioned (to be honest I couldn't really even discern what your post was talking about) but I think it's safe to say that it's all a bunch of crap and you should probably stop looking at these conspiracy theory websites. That's just my opinion though. Cheers. |

I recently had an argument on another board with some Americans who really thought that there are advanced plans to merge North America into one big country. They seriously thought all Canadians wanted to merge with the US (also thought we were a genuine communist country).
It sounds to me like a hoax intended to scare certain people into radical positions. |

Why should it be? BNW is already here. |

It's fun to think about that stuff, but I just pee laughing on the notion that the whole world is run by a spooky Dark Cabal of bankers or Templar douches or whatever. It's a neat premise for books and movies and all, but if it were true, why would They be steering the world so badly?
If there is an NWO, they are boobs and drunk drivers.
Why did They let China get so tough? Aren't They scared of nukes and pandemics and ice ages too? There's a few different ways people could blow up the world, now, without really even trying. What kind of overlords would let countries like Pakistan and North Korea have nukes? Where's the profit in that? Unless the NWO is stoked on the notion of living in underground bunkers for a couple centuries, it seems like they're doing a pretty crap job of running things.
I think there's probably lots of people who would LIKE to have that kind of power, but I seriously don't think anybody has ever pulled it off.
My points could be rebutted, I suppose, by claiming that what appears to be a totally unstable and potentially fatal power structure is actually perfectly planned, and not at all what we think it is. I call bullshot tho.
As for 1984, I'd say that kind of state certainly does exist, and has for quite a while. I'm thinking of North Korea and Stalinist Russia, specifically, and to a much lesser extent present-day China. Elements of the 1984 dystopia are clearly visible in many other countries as well, though of course not to the Orwellian degree.
What worries me is that advances in technology will continue to put more power in the hands of the monied classes, so it's altogether possible that sort of government could become even more adept at manipulating its masses. So far they've only aspired to the Big Brother level; maybe, in the next fifty years or so, such a society could actually exist, pretty much exactly as Orwell wrote it. I doubt it would happen to a country with a tradition of independent thought and free speech, but. |

If the NWO is considered to be some cluster of affiliated families that has managed to aggrandize and enrich themselves at the expense of most other people over millenia through control of the monetary system and other means, and has steadily expanded its sphere of influence, then of course that is how the world has (generally openly) worked over the last 6000 years or so. As to whether they are reptillian space aliens or whatever, who knows. |

The term "New World Order" has been replaced with the term "Globalization" www.4rie.com. Some interesting reading on that site. |

I see no evidence for a shadowy conspiracy controlling everything. I watched that Jones movie End Game and tried to track down his "facts". They were wrong, made up, heavily distorted, or simply unverifiable.
Alex Jones is a big fat loud mouthed idiot. |

Alex Jones is a NWO shill. The real 'exposers' of the NWO are usually jailed or killed, eg. William Cooper, Stanley Kubrick, Hunter Thompson, JFK. |

You need to knock all this kinda talk off. Do you want to wind up in a FEMA camp or get tasered to death by cops in black ski masks?
I love Alex Jones, I listen to his radio show everyday. Most of the stuff is kinda off-the-wall, but if you dig around there is some truth to what he says. Last week the EU leaders headed by Sarkozy (sp) called for a one world currency. CNN showed it. Makes for interesting reading.
