Great essay, great author. Give it a read.
I found it to be very interesting and it should be very informative for anyone involved with children. This includes parents and teachers. While some of it may not apply, it will definitely have you thinking about your own childhood as well as the kids in your classrooms. |

I liked it. It was worth reading. One line I liked was "one of the symptoms of bad judgement is thinking you've got good judgement." Anyone familiar with being drunk should write this on his forehead. |

my argument for why children shouldn't swear is a pragmatic one. inappropriate language will likely lead to 1) you getting your ass whupped, or 2) being perceived as an idiot. |
