| Obama will win. What is your reaction? |
| Obama will bring America, kicking and screaming, into the 21st century. Economically, globally and socially. |

| McCain would have been a better choice than Obama because of his experience. He's pretty liberal for a conservative anyway. |

| McCain is a leader, Obama is not. McCain has realistic ideas about how to improve the economy and the world. |

| McCain would have done a hell of a lot more in his presidency than Obama could ever have hoped to accomplished. It's a shame we lost a perfectly capable, experienced candidate to liberal hogwash. |

You mean Bill Ayers? Unlikely. I had no idea he was who they said he was. In grad school, I had to read a lot of his books on pedagogy (have an MA in education). He is a legend in that field. |
Well, according to Republicans and Conservatives, if you are for EDUCATION, you must be a TERRORIST!
SO, Merkurix, would you describe yourself as a terrorist or read any books by terrorists?
Now don't pull any of that loony liberal stuff...or use your education in education to get out of this one either! |
I have learned theories.
They were written by an alleged terrorist.
Therefore, I learned terrorist theories; thus, I am a terrorist.
(Damn . . . why you gotta back me up into a corner like that? )

That is correct, JMO: if something you post requires that I expend time and energy figuring out what it is that you want to say, then I move on. If you feel that this identifies your writing -- and it probably does -- then it must suck to be you.
That will be all. |
I try to figure out what someone is trying to say before I reply. That nessacarily takes time and energy.
I'm very happy as a person. Thanks for your concern though. |

This is painfully obvious from your replies to other people's posts.
It took me about a minute to read those poll options. About as long as it takes to write a snide reply about the poll options I'd say. |
Erm, given the context, that is hardly the most offensive post. |
It a personal peeve of mine, when people take the time to reply to say they will not take the time to formulate a real reply. It's a poll. Read it, click a box. If you don't want to read it, what is the sense in replying?

But not enough time to spell "necessarily" correctly? Whatever. |

I could take half an hour to an hour, I still wouldn't spell that word correctly without a spell check. Nice to see you hit my second favorite pet peeve. The old grammar/spelling nazi. Good for you. |

| JMO: "nessacarily" goes way beyond typo and, in an English-language instructor, deserves mention, to say the least. I agree, the Nazis annoy. But this requires a response. Look at it. |

As does someone not understanding what typo means. Look it up.
I do have bad spelling. I also have near perfect evaluations because I'm a good English teacher.
Thanks for your concern though. I'll make sure to put you down as a referee on my cv.
Well done by the way, on ignoring the actual substance of my post.
