McCain is a villain and Obama a hero. Agree or disagree. Hijacks go here.

This poll will not work.

People will stubbornly deny it when asked about it consciously. Rather, look at how they talk about J. McCain and B. Obama to see this.

How will the poll not work?

You vote yes or no, if you agree with the above statement. Since it is a secret poll, I doubt anyone will have any qualms about giving their real opinion.

"How will the poll not work?"

I explained that. I think you know that. It was a short post. Given your hostility, I would say your question is a rhetorical device and not a real question.

Jesus Christ. And I said this,

This was a direct response to your explanation. Your habit of only replying to maybe one sentence of a post is annoying.

And your insistence on quoting an entire post, even the irrelevant parts, in each and every response, is equally annoying. When you write papers, do you cite the entire bloody book or article when you quote and/or respond to someone else? You did not really question "how it will not work," then. You really wanted to express a different view. Why not just express the different view without the "what-you-say-makes-no-sense" preface?

Finally, "secret" does not respond to my "conscious." People will not consciously admit that this is how they see the two candidates. Again, look at how they talk about them spontaneously to see this.

I see that we are going to get into one of your usual lastworditis cycles. Let us do it then and see how long it might last.

That would work if you respond to the relevant part of a post. You don't. You quote the part you think you can give the snappiest answer to.

My point stands. It is a secret poll. People will have no qualms about giving an honest answer to a secret poll. You can have the last word today. I'm going outside to play.

oops sorry. didn't see your edit. I guess the results of the poll will speak to that a bit. We'll see i suppose.

No. You lie. I cited your question and responded to it. It was apparently too much for you just to say, "I disagree." You had to start with that sneering question. If you want to continue posting this way, then I will continue responding this way. Call it reciprocity. Been doing it for a long time here.

Congratulations on going outside to play, too. Do come home before the streetlights come on.

As a supporter of Obama, I do not think McCain is a villian.

McCain is too pathetic to be a villian. No vote here.

Mccain's a villain and Obama's sin laden.

So the correct answer is "No."

Since the vote is 6-5 in favor of "Yes," I guess Gopher is right: the poll is not working.

Gopher loves to casts the conservatives as victims of liberal character assassination but chooses to ignore the fact that exactly the same thing is done by conservatives to a greater extent with regards to Obama and has been do to all leading democrats for the past decade if not longer by right-wing media. Which side was it who did the 'swift-boat' character attack on Kerry and spewed out constant bile about the Clintons?
From what I've seen in the media, in general, McCain has hardly been 'villianised' by liberals and in fact many have talked about him with respect. With the emails, robocalls etc. far more character assassination has been done against Obama. Gopher seems to be too partisan to be able to see this though.
