I downloaded "Rec" recently, but haven't watched it yet. It's supposed to be pretty good.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1038988/

It was good enough to warrant a crappy NA remake called "Quarantine" I guess.

Thanks UWB, I'm about to watch Rec. Rottentomatoes.com gave it good reviews.

I watched Pathology and Tortured recently. I liked both those movies, though both deal with some gory scenes. Tortured was more of a cop/gangster mystery while Pathology was like a demented CSI.

For slower, artsy/visual movies, try Paranoid Park.

The recent DVD release, Mirrors, is a Hollywood remake of a Korean horror movie. Not great, but not bad, I recommend it for horror goers.

"Mongol" was pretty good in an Asian Braveheart kinda way. Asano Todanabu is about as Mongolian as I am, but he's a reliable lead actor.
