|
|
I've been looking around but so far haven't been able to find much info on what would be a good editing rate here in Korea.
I was thinking of offering a two level split; 1 (spelling, grammar, word usage, punctuation, indentation) & 2 (1 + style, length, logic, etc.).
So what would be fair to charge here?
Thanks in advance for any guidance on this. |

| i'm probably getting robbed but i do essays at 5 bucks a page(20 lines equals a page). i have a buddy who gets 10. I do it through the university and have no leeway to negotiate. |

| The standard rate per page for essays/applications/reference letters is 15 000 won for complete editing (including re-writing, structure, style, grammar etc). For basic proofreading the rate is lower - 5 000 - 7000 won per page. |

| I know that no one want to give up their secrets or their pot of gold, but, can anyone provide some information as to how to go about getting into this area. Any info or experiences would be greatly appreciated. |

| Call or go over to SNU's language institute. They run editing/proofreading services out of their operation and pay pretty well. Sometimes they advertise, sometimes they don't. |

Buy me a cigar if something comes of it and we'll call it square. Preferably Cuban, but Padron Anniversary, Partagas 150 or 160, or even the Opus X would do.
Good luck to you. -PR |
