Goodbye, Tompatz, best luck with the coconut-watching early retirement trip. You've helped a lot of people out over the years, on this site, and quite likely in real life as well. Good on ya dude, best luck.

Hard to imagine you going, Ttompaz. Is it because of the declining won, or you're just homesick?

I wish you the best of luck, you've helped a lot of people on this site, and I am sure they appreciate it.

I also need to throw in my thanks!

Though I don't post often, most of the helpful information I come across here has been posted by you. I'm also grateful for the information you sent me VIA private messages when I requested your help.

I really appreciate it,

~Tathen

Yeah I've seen a lot of people from the class of 2005 step off the bus recently.

Admittedly, ttompatz posts useful advice*

*But at the same time, he also has this weird habit of posting 25 to 500 times a day. I wonder sometimes whether his computer has ever been turned off ...

ttompatz, annyeonghi gaseyo!

You have some kind of issue with this guy. He's an institution, enough with the passive aggressive left handed compliments.

Absolutely, my thanks too! Extremely useful posts, always helping out newbies. You must have posted some bits of advice over and over again (eg, the recruiters as an introduction to employers) in response to questions that come up over and over again, and still don't get snarky when the question pops up again.

I hope you have a great time wherever you go.

Ttompatz is the most helpful poster I've ever encountered on any board EVER. Frankly he is irreplacable. We can only hope he'll be one of those weird people who lurk around Dave's even after he's left Korea Very Happy

Thanks Ttompatz. Your posts have consistently been the most informative and helpful on this forum. I think it's going to be a lot harder to get good info once you're gone. Good luck with the early retirement!

Indeed. Dave's ought to give him a lifetime achievement award or something. Definitely one of the most helpful guys on here. A veritable fountain of Korea-related information.

TP is leaving Korea, and all he's selling is a fan, a baby crib, and a heater?

You aren't actually just moving and coming back under a different nickname, are you? We'll have to see if there is a change in mod names. Laughing

Did you see the new mod named farrapat, or something like that? Laughing
