Hello,

This is my first time posting here but I've read many posts on Dave's since I arrived in South Korea.

If any of you could choose between a good I.B.T. T.O.E.F.L. institute or a hogwon near Samgachi Station near I'taewon, which one would you choose?

By the way, I'm from Massachusetts but lived in Nova Scotia and on Prince Edward Island for a long time: Hat tip to any homies from "Out East."

Don

There are a lot of Osan positions, so you'll probably have a small community of foreigners to hang out with. However, it is far from Seoul. If you want to go into Seoul on weekends, I suggest working closer.

I am a little further out in Pyeongtaek, only because my girlfriend lives out here. It's just farmland and the basics.

Train ride from Osan to Seoul (seoul station) is 40-45mins, BUT there are only 4 trains a day.

Most likely you'd be taking the subway and that will put you at 78mins to either Seoul Station or Hongdae and 94mins to Itaewon.

you'd be doing a run-around with the subway/train. there's a bus that runs from songtan to nambu bus that takes around 45 minutes - there are plenty of additional options for the bus. it's much more efficient on time if there isn't any traffic (i'm assuming you'd be coming in on the weekends).
