Kiwisaver (New Zealand's pension system, but not Super Annuation) is completely optional.
Can this be used as an excuse to claim back my pension money in korea? |

Nope. No treaty between the two to allow for it.
Pay in and collect when you get old or lobby your government for a treaty between the two like the Aussies did.
