the good stuff they sell only at hair salons and nice department stores. the cheap stuff they sell at the grocery store/gs/pharmacy. for the good stuff it's gonna be atleast 20K depending on the brand. |

haha...I understand...My hairstyles requires clay, without it, I either look like a infantryman or have bedhead.I need the stiff, not greasy type that holds till the end of the day.
I used to buy at olive young, but the prices went up two dollars and the containers recently were cut to half the size.Ridiculous.
I use Henna Hair Wax Clay Type, not as stiff as "crew" that I used to buy in the US but almost as good(and Im picky about that stuff) still 8,000 at Grandmart in Sinchon. Its the best stuff I've found in Korea after five years, still reasonably priced unlike the others. Its in a green container on the first floor by the down escalator.Remember not to go to another station on the first floor. This is korea, so each station operates "independently" although its a department store, so u can go to the wrong counter with men's hair supplies, you can ask for a particular product, and they'll not have any idea that what your looking for is at the adjacent counter. Its weird.
If your in Seoul its the place to go.And dont expect to find it another place or at another granmart. You'll have to go to the grandmart in Sinchon. You cant expect every Grandmart to have products similar to other locations, especially in Korea. If you choose not to get that brand, be sure to check the tester container since even if the name or product description looks perfect, itll be greasy or or otherwise not be what your looking for.
Your hair is important, I contend more important than shoes...dont settle for less than the best. |

The best stuff I've found is Sebastian Xtah Crude Clay--there's a salon in the Ewha University area that sells it--about 34,000 I think. The place is Cheon Gyeong Sook Hair--come out Edae station and walks towards the university...It's about 1/3 of the way down on your right next to Olive Young. |

That stuff is really good. It's more expensive, but you get a lot and it lasts for a long time. I purchased some at Juno Hair near ewha. I thought it was cheaper than 34k, but i could be wrong. |

michaelmichael and semikypo,
how bigs the container?I cant justify paying over twelve to fifteen for these four ounze cups.Tho Id pay a little more for more a bigger container and best hold.
Again, when I say the Henna stuff is the "best Ive found so far," I mean for the price and without walking into a salon that I know will charge me 25 bucks for the same haircut that Ive trained the Hongdae Blue Club to do for only six bucks. |
