Oregon. It has the great PNW weather. Hot dry summers and mild winters. And Portland is a pretty cool place. Seattle's cool, but it's too spread out.

What he (or she) said. Oh, and it's not Texas. That's a bonus [for me].

Colorado--I love elk roasts on the barby.

Never get sick of the snow-capped view either.

Damn fine reason, though there are other reasons to like Alaska, dude.

Been to nearly three dozen of 'em. Totally loved Arizona, perfect weather and really friendly people, a good cross cultural mix of foods too. South Carolina is a close second. Great place.

I like Nebraska and Utah because they are easy states to make fun of.

OHIO!

There's no place like home.

There are things like Lake Erie wineries, Cedar Point, Hiking in the Hocking hills, and Wayne National Forest, the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Indians.

Still, what I enjoyed most was living in Columbus and being a part of things. Cycling is getting to be a big deal, the music scene rocks, and there's a happening arts district. The only thing it doesn't have right now are a lot of good jobs. That's why I'm here.

I haven't traveled much but I like what I saw of NY and Penn. been to DC twice. The area is cool.

I'm from Tennesse so I gotta put that in there. Most of you would enjoy East TN and the mountains. I am from the flat part in West TN

Born in NY

Lived in North Carolina, Michigan, South Carolina and finally California. I've road tripped North, South, East and back West again to visit Family that I have all over. So this is a difficult question... I'd say...

CALIFORNIA, besides the people. Hiking, Skiing/Snowboarding, Boating, Sport teams (college and Professional), Culture of all kinds, The BEACHES! The cultural mashup is so diverse you can find anything you don't like anywhere, yet something you like.

Manifest destiny left us with the end of the line for the best and worst of the entire country.

Especially Utah. But then again, who couldn't make fun of the state that Children of the Corn took place in?
