I was never a huge fan of the female part of Chicago for the most part, but I find I'm missing it more and more.

i just said i've seen more attractive thin western women than men...that being said, i haven't seen more than a dozen hot western men in the 4 years i've been here (including about 6 gorgeous brazilian models...)

I haven't hung out in Seoul, but the last time I was there sightseeing, I walked around COEX, since that's where I hopped on the subway to go back home.
and I saw lots of BOTH stereotypes.
some almost grotesquely overweight Western women.
and some big time dork Western guys, some with what I would consider unattractive Korean friends/gf's.
I hate to be so harsh and judgmental and I'm certainly not presenting myself as some great fucking prize, or Brad Pitt, but really - seeing some of these people made me feel a hell of a lot better about myself 
p.s. starleczko, I used to look at a world map non stop as a young boy, even under covers with flashlight after Mamus turned off the light (this is back in the Old Country), so I certainly don't need a travel agent to tell me who is found where . Clearly that wasn't on top of my requirement list this time/travel around. |

To be fair, I've seen the two extremes...good-looking Western guys and scary looking Western guys. The former were nice for conversation and maybe I'm wrong but they gave off an air like they're too in demand for me. Maybe I need to look harder for some genuinely nice guys...they must be around. The latter though made my skin crawl when they looked at me...I would have mistaken them for some kind of social misfit or sexual deviant back home. There's many others in between but the two extremes really stand out.
P.S. bogusiek, I was just making a joke but your constant references to your dissatisfaction with Korean women makes me wonder why you would commit yourself to a life with women around you who you don't find remotely attractive. I like to be surrounded by good-looking people of the opposite sex and I don't think men are any different. |

I've seen some I find attractive. Just a lot less than I had initially imagined, (and I had no idea about the whininess and the princess act) especially since one of the great lusts of my life was a Korean stewardess I once met in Hong Kong airport, she worked for Emirates Air.
but being surrounded by good looking people was never a consideration when deciding why to come here. Had that been a consideration I'd be working/teaching for peanuts in Colombia, Venezuela or Brazil. Or gone to Madrid... perhaps even back to the old countries, but in the FSU. |

i'm an american, from a big city, fashionable, thin, educated, etc......
i've been in asia for 3 years and find the men to be really hot...much more attractive then the western men i see and meet; both personality and looks wise.
i have learned to look past all of the stereotypes created and perpetuated by western men about asian men; they just aren't true.
also....as many of the men mentioned about women....there's many more to choose from.
i've only been to korea once, and didnt find the men nearly as attractive as japanese men...but i'll check things out again soon.
a man who cares about how he looks and dresses is sexy.....and i dont mean over the top and tacky, just nice and cooolll!
and a man who is in touch with his feminine side is much sexier and confident than one who isn't. |

I've heard from female friends that they dig the Japanese guys more than the the Korean guys.
I think it's a Korean condition to try too hard, which I would imagine is a turn off. Not ALL Koreans, but I see it a lot.
Unless of course, you're male and you just want to spread as much seed as possible, in which case who gives a sh!t?

I understand that but if it didn't matter to you that you don't find Korean women attractive and you find Latin women so hot, you wouldn't post about it so much. It clearly bothers you. I just want you to be happy!  If I would have known, I would have convinced some of my Latin chicas back in the states to come along. |

I dont understand that logic...Are you saying that fat people should only be allowed to find other fat people attractive? That a fat guy not being attracted to a fat girl is wrong?
Im an obese guy and I complain about the multitude of fat western women because I dont find fat people attractive.. I would imagine most fat women do not find fat men attractive either. |

actually I've come to the conclusion that Korean women "peak" around the age of 6 or so.
They're at their complete best at kindergarten age.
And at this age, their plusses are the most obvious, and the minues most easily negated.
they are beyond cute and their cute/pretty faces are the focus of all attention.
their cutesy demeanor and cutesy accoutrements are best suited for girls that age. (e.g. assortment of Mickey Mouse wear, etc)
the princess act works perfectly for a kinderarden aged girl.
and the whining, even if already developed isn't as grating.
lastly, no need to worry about having either T or A. which most of them won't have anyways.
I'm just bitching because I am remembering my days in Caracas or Cali, or Rio De Janeiro.
but you know what... it's still better than the hordes of grazing pale heiffers back in Chicago! (not all are like that, but the percentages are very bad... and the competition for the attractive ones is BEYOND fierce. ) |

I feel I must chime in... again. there seems to be a lot of people making claims that are based only on personal preference as if they were absolutes. So I will post my own opinion, under a big disclaimer which reads:
THIS IS ONLY MY OPINION
I think Korean women are very beautiful. I think they are on average more attractive than Western women; this is not because of any unique "Asian" traits, but because the rate of obesity among young women here is almost zero, and also I just happen to be not attracted to black women, so my pickings in America are rather limited by these two factors.
also, Korean women are top-notch. they are skinny, with small boobs and butts*, don't have blonde hair**, they don't peak until their late twenties, and many of them wear glasses! The only downside is you have to sneak them into a sound-proof bunker on the other side of Mercury before they'll kiss you.
* I've never understood most men's obsession with big boobs. to me they're ugly, and mostly irrelevant. Imagine living in a world where everyone was obsessed with elbows. People talked about they all the time, even the women, and men weren't interested in girls who didn't have big elbows. you would think the whole world had gone mad! Well that's what our world looks like through my eyes.

Let me also take this opportunity to counter some BS about Western women.
I have met women at all points of the spectrum: intelligent, adventurous, attractive women, and fat women so aggressively ignorant they don't know how many states their own country has. No doubt we men also run the gamut from A to Z as well.
My main reasons for avoiding western women like the plague are A) I want to feel more adventurous, and B) what kind of retard eats a burger in a seafood restaurant? There are no inherent flaws in Western women as a group. |

Attraction isn't something you can control so if you like thin women, then you like thin women. But complaining about overweight women when you're obese yourself is hypocritical...don't you think? There's a saying that goes something like this...practice what you preach. In any case, it's not just about looks but about lifestyle. Your body is a temple and needs to be treated as such and to me, obesity is a slow form of suicide. |

I agree with you on most of the points except I think Korean men are better looking than Japanese but to each her own I guess! You forgot to mention that they are very sweet and respectful. To me, that is super sexy! |
