Don't order from this company 피자예나르. Worst customer service of any company I have ever experienced. Ordered plain pepperoni pizza: cheese and pepperoni. It arrived with pepperoni and mixed vegetables, specifically onions which I am highly allergic to. Called to explain that we ordered plain pepperoni, and owner refused to send another pizza with advertised toppings. Owner actually insulted my wife and I. Wish there was a Better Business Bureau in this country. What a madhouse.

Yikes!
Being allergic to onions must make life difficult.
The couple of times I've gotten pizza from a place that's not a major chain advertising "build your own" or something, they don't seem to understand the concept of choosing toppings... like you can't get "only potato", because the potato comes with ham, pepper, sweetcorn, etc. Makes you wonder if they're actually made to order like they're supposed to be.

My wife told them plain pepperoni pizza, cheese and pepperoni (in Korean). Perhaps she should have emphasized "no onions", however, I have never received onions on a pepperoni pizza in any country I have ever visited or lived. Hence, why I order, pepperoni pizza. The plainest one next to just cheese.

Interesting insight Luckycharm. I suppose things have not changed in relation to made to order specializations. I have read about how previously in Korea, requesting non-inclusion of certain foodstuffs was an alien concept. Perceived development . . .

The main argument here is the issue of customer service. The lack of it continously amazes me.

The owner definitely shouldn't have insulted your wife.

I do know that some of the smaller pizza places put extra toppings on their "pepperoni pizza." To be safe, I think it's better to go with someone like Papa John's or Domino's if you want pepperoni pizza as you're probably used to.

If I was highly allergic to onions, I would try to make sure there were no onions on the pizza beforehand. You never know, onions could be chopped up and used for the sauce as well. So... I think this one's on you buddy.

Korea has come a long way on Western food though - believe it or not. I was in Korea in 1989 and there weren't many pizza places around. My friend and I found one and ordered a pepperoni pizza. Even though we were the only people in the restaurant, they still managed to screw up the order and give us a cheese pizza. When we complained, I saw the guy drop some raw pepperoni on the pizza and hand it right back to us in about 30 seconds.

However, that will never top the time I saw a guy making hamburgers. He had two large cardboard boxes. One contained cooked meat patties and the other had buns. He'd combine the two items and throw them under the heat lamp. I can't begin to imagine what kind of cooked meat can be shipped around at room temperature for days on end.

The OP is doing the foreign community a service by pointing out bad businesses. The OP's post and sharkey's post show the gap between someone with a good life in Korea (wife, helps out others, probably has a great job) and someone sitting at home with a thumb up their ass.
