So my parents sent me a care package that included hiking boots, blankets, winter jackets, beef jerky, my favorite brands of soap (Lever 2000) and toothpaste (Aquafresh Extreme Clean, amazing stuff btw), and a set of very expensive wheels for my road bike (~$1000)... about two months ago.

They were sent to an APO belonging to one of my mother's college friends, a teacher at the American high school.

USPS says they have no information regarding it's whereabouts and we cant figure out who we're supposed to contact about it here at this end. Any tips on who I should start bugging or am I never going to see my stuff again?

My understanding is that if it's an APO, it probably went to a military post somewhere (hopefully, Korea), so find out from your mother where her college friend is stationed (or what post that school is where she's teaching). It's most likely in a mail room on that post, and they might not know who to give it to, or they're just keeping it until someone claims it.

I imagine she teaches near the base in Itaewon. We've been in contact with her and she says it simply hasn't arrived. I guess I can ask her for more details but I have to assume she's already done as much as she can do. She's a family friend and told us to use her APO.

If you contact anyone in "Army officialdom" about it, your friend might lose the APO privileges and possibly even command sponsorship (that can mean loss of job). Your friend can check, of course, but don't be surprised if the answer is something along the lines of "That item cannot be shipped to an APO/FPO in that area."

You can always check with the person who shipped the stuff. Remember that surface mail sometimes takes a lot longer than first class mail.
