| It looks like I'll be renewing my contract in February. Will I need to do all the background and health checks again? I'm not planning on going home between contracts, |

| I didn't have to do a background check or health check when I renewed with my PS last January. I think as long as you stay with the same school then you don't have to submit either one |

| I just applied for a Visa for one of my teachers. He submitted his Criminal Check in April, and didn't need to submit another. He changed jobs. I am not sure yet if he will have to do the medical check again. I imagine though, you would possibly get 5 different protocols from 5 different immigration officers. |

| I renewed (PS) for Sept. 1 and had to submit a new health check with HIV & TBPE tests. I did not have to submit a new criminal record check. |

But if you didn't submit one YET, then you will have to submit these things for renewal. |

IF you submitted a CRC and medical for your current visa you do NOT need to do it again for an extension of your status of sojourn (contract extension/renewal).
If you did NOT submit a CRC and medical for your current visa you WILL be required to submit them for your extension/renewal.
