I linked her campaign's webpage, which includes her blog, Adventurer. |
Yeah, I went on there to take a brief look. I haven't seen any blog postings. I see she wants to champion gay rights, allow sex workers some rights, have farm animals treated humanely, she's anti-war etc.... I don't agree with her when it comes to immigration. There are many security problems with unrestricted immigration. She wants to repeal the Taft-Harley Act. Did you see any postings on the blog? I keep hitting the blog link and nothing comes up. I guess she doesn't really write on there. You stated that she wants Bush impeached (many do) and then executed. I am not sure if you were being sarcastic about the execution part, because that would be in stark contrast to her very liberal agenda.
Yes, you gave us a link to the site, but a direct link to quotes about Bush would have been nice. Thanks for the link, anyway.

O.K., Adventurer, you don't need to "knock three times," ala Tony Orlando and Dawn, to get my attention.

But she is right, ManintheMiddle. I agree with her on this point: N. Pelosi is an elitist tyrant (her words) and we should throw her out of office (her objective).
I think we ought to encourage her to continue getting her message out until Pelosi retires from office, thus allowing democracy to take Congress back... |
I can't say whether she's a tyrant or not, but I find it a sweet piece of poetic justice that the very people who propped her up as their foil against Bush's Iraq policy are not feeling the sting of her obviously never-ending wrath. |

Man, Dave's ESL was kind of slow, and it had me post three times and Gatsby had a thread posted thrice, and I guess a mod removed two of those identical postings. I am not sure if it's a question of having a server problem. |

What a bunch of nazis on this board.
You wish you had half the fight in you that she does.
I guess you'd have preferred her to go off softly and let Bush and co. get away with lying to Americans.
Cindy Sheehan represents the fight against tyranny that most Americans are too oblivious to participate in. |

Yes, 70% it seems. Yet not all that long ago 70% were pro-war.
I could never understand how Michelle Obama could say she was ashamed of America, but now I can kind of see how an American might feel that way. |

Hmm. What elite? What is "elitism?" Who is "the elite" that she is referring to here?
I love her choice of pics, too. The one with N. Pelosi and W. Bush must have damned the former in C. Sheehan's intolerant little eyes for all time...
Nancy Pelosi: MIA
Oh yeah: she has received endorsements from R. Barr, S. Penn, and M. Sheen...

Cindy has declared for 2010:
(11-05) 00:10 PST LOS ANGELES, (AP) --
"House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was easily re-elected Tuesday, overcoming a challenge from anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan.
Pelosi was elected to a 12th House term representing San Francisco with 71.56 percent of the vote, compared to 17.19 percent for Sheehan, with 67 percent of precincts reporting.
...In an interview after polls closed, Sheehan didn't concede defeat but vowed to run again in 2010. She accused the media of ignoring her and criticized Pelosi for not debating her."

That's good, as we will still be in Iraq then.
She will be a better-honed candidate by then and have more name recognition. |

Yep, she's sure a swell human being. Using the proceeds from her son's death to meet with dictators while letting him lie in an unmarked grave, yet still found the time and energy to pose at a FAKE gravesite for media photos. It wasn't until attention started to be paid to the fact that Casey had no tombstone, that he finally got one. |

Pelosi protected George Bush in the House from getting his come-up-uns, hopefully she'll get outsed in 2010 when things dont get any better with a stacked Democrat deck. I mean, she almost lost to a "crazy, bored, tasteless, etc, blah, blah housewife"...Pelosi's days are numbered.
Anyways, the tombstones just an expensive trinket and an essentially anti-climactic gesture, the soilder and Iraqi population that can be saved by protest: priceless. |

Jesus man, is your heart made of ice? Calling her out about how her son's burial arrangements? Is nothing private anymore? That's repugnant. |

It is incredible how heartless some people on this board can be.
Not only here but also on the threads posted by Stephanie when her son had just been murdered (most likely), and people came on here to call her out, too.
I don't care what you think, but short of having killed a child herself, give some proper respect to a grieving mother. |
