Redskins also lost tonight. No incumbent party has won following such an event if I remember correctly someone mentioning last election. |

Shouldn't this thread be in off topic, or even current events? |

If Obama doesn't win I will highly suspect mass voter fraud. I'll be protesting in front of the U.S. embassy. I'll make it massive because I'll tell Koreans it's against U.S. beef. |

I happen to think the American election is highly pertinent to expatriates living in Korea.
Besides, have you looked at the other threads on this forum, lately? There is a five page thread devoted to Bigfeet's genitalia.

The Redskins streak was broken during the last election.

Reality finally trumped coincidence in 2004: Despite the Green Bay Packers' 28-14 defeat of the Redskins at the latter's home field on 31 October, presaging a victory for Democratic challenger John Kerry in upcoming the presidential election, two days later incumbent President George W. Bush was re-elected, breaking the Redskins' predictive pattern. Though the Redskins indicator is no longer perfect, with 17 correct matches out of the last 18 elections it can still boast an impressive accuracy rate of 94.4% |

Looks like a landslide. I hope so. We need a strong statement of support for this president.
McCain in five of eight key battleground states as Americans prepare to vote in the White House race, according to a series of Reuters/Zogby polls released on Tuesday.
Obama expanded his national lead to 11 points over McCain among likely U.S. voters in a separate Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby tracking poll, up from 7 points on Sunday. The telephone poll has a margin of error of 2.9 percentage points.
Obama appeared to be firmly in command of the presidential battle as Americans head to the polls on Tuesday, with McCain struggling to beat back a challenge from Obama in about a dozen states won by President George W. Bush in 2004. |

I'll be curious to know what the voter turnout is this time around. From what I've been reading, a LOT of people are showing up at the polls, far more than usual. |
