Think it's just a cute joke, eh? O'Bama!! Geddit?
But, he actually is Irish on his mother's side!
Expect spuds, Guinness and a punch-up at future Whitehouse banquets....

Can someone please explain how a country like Ireland, small and relatively powerless on the global stage, has so many relatives.
Is everyone in the world related to an Irishman? Are the Irish the Borg or something? |

Famines and poverty have a way of driving people to look elsewhere for food and money.
I'm just curious if Bush staffers are going to remove the O or H key from computer keyboards like outgoing Clinton staffers:

Great; somebody from Kentucky thinks that they're a position to poke at fun at the Irish. |

I am glad Obama won!!!! All right! Obama is the first person from the North in decades to win as a Democrat. The other Democrats who won since 1964 have been from the South. After LBJ passed the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the South was lost by the party due to desegregation. The country is still polarized when it comes to regions and views on race, religion etc.... Kennedy was the last president who was from the North and was a Democrat. |

I don't have a sister. I only have a wife that looks eerily like me. |
