Michelle Obama's Election Night Dress. 
While Obama's eloquent victory speech moved me to tears, unfortunately so did Michelle's dress. Barack looked sharp as can be in a dark navy suit, which was custom made by Hart Schaffner Marx, but I just wasn't feeling Michelle's splotchy red and black Narciso Rodriguez frock.
It might seem a little shallow  to be discussing fashion the day after such a big moment in America's history, but I'm not the only one buzzing about Mrs. Obama's election night attire. Yahoo! users are searching like crazy for info on her dress, while critics are weighing in on whether it was a hit or miss.

It's high time we stop worrying and being so puritanical about little things like how we're dressed or work style, but start addressing the issues of what's so wrong today and get down to the business of putting the country and it's people back on a road to success.
I guess it's time for her to break out the executive style skirt or pant suits. Some people dress like that and some don't regardless of job. It's like I know both sloppy dress teachers and then the impeccably beautiful glamor suit style ladies.
She's just sloppy and casual, but it doesn't matter as she won't have to do anything. |

Chicago-based designer Maria Pinto, for example, says she�s seen retail orders increase 45% within the last 12 months due in part to Mrs. Obama making key campaign appearances in her dresses," Heard on the Street writes.
Of course, it's not clear that Rodriguez are capable of executing on this opportunity. The largest institutional holders of LIZ, Fidelity and Lazard, however, are probably wringing their hands and dialing up contacts in management right now. |
