She'll definitely run. If the GOP is smart, they'll nominate Jindal. If they nominate Palin, it shows they didn't learn their lessons from this time. Base-centric strategies no longer work. Gotta court the moderate middle.
As a dem, Jindal scares me a hell of a lot more than Palin. Palin's brand has been tarnished in this election; when moderates hear the name they think "incompetence."
She's going down in history with Quayle. Run him too, by all means. |

PALIN/ QUAYLE 2012! That'd be a great t-shirt! |

Once you get past the story of the hacking of the respective campaigns' computers, seems Caribou Barbie overspent in NY with the credit cards. Bad dog!
Some buzz about their upcoming meetings is suggesting the smarter folk in the Republican party have absolutely no interest in promoting her for any future position.
It seems they're hanging her out to dry on this one.

The press roast continues......she must have really ticked a few of them off....this kind of hosing is ridiculous...

| She didn't know which three nations are in NAFTA or that Africa is a continent, not a country. Good riddance. |

Good riddance?
She remains a major topic of conversation here. People continue to condescend and scorn her. And the election is decided and over.
Good riddance? When do you think that part will happen? |

| The election is 24 hours over. She'll fade away. Unless I am overestimating the intelligence of the Republican base, which would be nearly impossible. |

| After one term of an intelligent, educated, and articulate President Obama (unfortunately that will NOT necessarily make him a good president), Americans will be ready for another moron. |

| The GOP needs a scapegoat, and who better than Palin? After testing to see how much idiocy the American people would put up with and subsequently finding out, what else can they do? |

Ha! Caribou Barbie was well received by some press members when she first appeared on the scene...I'm sure those same people have been eating their own words and kicking themselves for months now.
But to be fair, she and her running mate and her party lost. It's so ugly to kick someone when they're so down, down, down... |

And what a perfect scapegoat they have this year! Someone who readily deserves a lot (but certainly not all) of the blame for the GOP's missteps.
McCain isn't all bad, but if his choice of a VP running mate is any reflection of his judgment, then the man is an idiot. I understand why McCain and his people chose Palin, but they clearly did not think their decision through. If they wanted a conservative female running mate to draw the female vote, was there no other choice but Palin? A barbie doll from Alaska with zero, zilch foreign policy experience that could potentially put her within an arm's reach of the Oval Office? At such a crucial point in the race, they f*cked up big time.
My favorite Palin moment? And trust, there are so many of them! When Katie Couric asked her what newspapers and magazines she reads to keep up on world affairs, and Palin couldn't even name one! She dodged the same question three times!

A Republican (!) emailed me this version of that:
http://wimp.com/palinattacked/
It's looking like they want to undermine the support she has from some within the party and the base so she just goes away and....doesn't...come....back. |

That is some funny sh*t! Though when that guy appeared out of nowhere, I did jump out of my seat. LOL
Politicians, like celebrities, live in this bubble sometimes because they surround themselves with so many "yes" people. They have no clue as to how the general public really perceives them. I wonder if Palin thinks she still has a future in federal politics. Anyway, I don't think we have anything to worry about. She ain't coming back. Ever. |

I'd wager we'll see her again hosting her own show on Fox News. Look out Bill O'Reilly! |

| Actually I think the higher ups in the RNC know that their odds with her as a candidate are pretty slim. My bet is things will be leaked about her (like her 'additional' clothing spending that made it to the news today) that will discredit her and quiet the 'base'. |
