Food for thought: Do you think that having a black President, will incite more racially motivated violence in the US? I'm talking primarily about white on black and black on white violence.

I guarantee that there are more ignorant !@*! out there like these two. Even as I hope for America and our new President, I'm reminded of some harsh realities when I read news stories like this one. |

I'll give him less than 2yrs before someone takes him out. I never imagined anyone would assasinate Bush....but Obama has 'I'm going to be killed by a lunatic' written all over him.

I was in Los Angeles during the '92 Rodney King riots...what you are suggesting would be on a magnitude ten times worse. I can't even fathom it. Yet the frightening thing is that there is a small faction in the US that would derive such sick pleasure out of seeing such an event come about. |

Oh yes indeed. You should see the conservative websites today. Their panties are in a bunch and now they have finished peeing themselves, they're buying guns.
Did you hear about the gay white supremacists who wanted to shoot 84 black people first then run over Obama while wearing white tuxedos and white hats?
They're just the beginning. The conservative movement is ruined and in tatters. The GOP civil war has begun with not clear winner in sight yet. Meanwhile, as conservative tend to do, they're preparing for war.
Remember that Timothy McVeigh and Eric Rudolph came from their ranks.
Die-hard conservatives AKA the Christian Taliban won't stay quiet after their hero Sarah Esther Palin lost. Expect them to get ugly and want to try something.
Nonetheless, the Secret Service is on the ball. They're not gonna let another Reagan happen on their watch. So I'm not worried. |
