Anyone get an FBI background check while in Korea? How did it go? How long did it take to get?
Or, if anyone has gotten a background check from California while in Korea and can give me some info on that it would be appreciated. |

I did the FBI check from Korea. It took just under 1 month. I mailed my fingerprint card to the FBI on July 28, and my results arrived in my mailbox on August 23. |

Any chance you can give me a link with the mailing address? Did you have to get it appostilized? If not, why?
Thanks in advance. |

FBI CJIS Division Record Request
1000 Custer Hollow Road
Clarksburg, West Virginia 26306
The information page is at:
http://www.fbi.gov/hq/cjisd/fprequest.htm
After you get the results back from the FBI, you can take it to the US embassy in Seoul to get an affidavit. Korean immigration will accept that affidavit as a substitute for an apostille. |
