They've overdone a lot of the characters. My favourites used to be Groundskeeper Willy and Hans Moleman.
Now I think it's Milhouse, just because he's so weird, and still well-written. |

Thrillhouse's dad's former boss at the cracker factory.
Kirk: You're letting me go?
Manager: Kirk, crackers are a family food, happy families. Maybe single people eat crackers, we don't know. Frankly, we don't want to know. It's a market we can do without.
Kirk: So that's it after twenty years? "So long, good luck"?
Manager: I don't recall saying "good luck". |

This questions is harder to answer than "Which came first; the chicken or the egg?"
I like Agnes Skinner. She has some classic moments.
Agnes Skinner: Seymour, tell these people we're going ahead of them.
Principal Skinner: I'm not the principal of the line, mother.
Agnes Skinner: And you never will be.
I also like Rod and Tod Flanders.
Lisa: Where are the dice?
Todd Flanders: Daddy says dice are wicked.
Rod Flanders: We just move one space at a time. It's less fun that way.
Finally I like the Old Sea Captain:
Man: I'm telling you the light would work better if it pointed out to sea.
Sea Captianr: Arr, shut up. I know what I'm doin'. (a boat crashes in the distance) Arr, I hate the sea and everything in it. |

You are correct, sir! I forget about that guy; too bad you won't get the cool burn this week! |

I like the idiot bullies at Bart & Lisa's school.
Jimbo: Hey, Simpson! Did your mother buy you those pajamas?
Bart (looking down at his jammies): Of course she did. Who else would've bought them?
Jimbo: Uhh... You win this time, Simpson... |

Those guys are great, although they've kind of overused Nelson (except when they pair him up for any reason with Martin).
Jimbo, Dolph, and Kearney are great though.
Here's a trivia fact about Dolph: in the episode "24 Minutes," it's revealed he's fluent in Korean. |

I gotta mention Kent Brockman. He's a great caricature of news anchors.
And I guess they don't really count, but Itchy and Scratchy are great too.
Love this bit from Kent when Homer was accused of sexual harrassment:
"Here are some results from our phone-in poll: 95% of the people believe Homer Simpson is guilty. Of course this is just a television poll, which is not legally binding, unless proposition 304 passes, and we all pray it will." |

| I also like the unnamed drunks at Moe's bar. They say nothing but nod and sigh drunkingly, or laugh, to some comments |

He came out with his own hit single 'Can I borrow a feeling?'
