Besides drink? I've been here a couple months now, and I miss not being on the coast, but I better find some landlocked stuff to do.

Not a whole lot going on in Daejeon. Sort of have to make your own fun here. For example, today meeting some friends for a gaming session then out for "real" Chinese food and darts.

There is a planetarium and a science museum over near EXPO. But they will only entertain you so far. When I first moved here I just took Saturdays and started walking alot. No destination in mind just choose a random direction and started exploring the city.

I like Daejeon but it is a bit boring. Nice central location for getting to other cities though.

It's the final soccer game of the year over at the World Cup Stadium tomorrow (Sunday) at 3pm if you are in to that sort of thing.

And of course, there is plenty of fun to be had around the Daejeon station area Cool

Go walk around/shopping downtown near the train station.

Go to the zoo. It's great.

Go to Keyerong-san, it's a nice hike.

Watch a movie.

Go to a jim-jil-baang.

Take a walk by the river.

Take the bus to the west coast. It's less than 2 hours.

...

Is there still a place called Watermelon Sugar there? Where in Daejon are you based?
